MR. ALEXANDER KOJO TETTEH
Mr. Tetteh is the President of the Centre for Employment of Persons with Disabilities. He has a wide experience in advocating the rights of persons with disabilities. He was involved in the drafting of the Ghana National Disability Act of 2006; Act 715, the Ghana Growth and Poverty reduction strategy and the Labour Act of 2003.

During his work at the Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled, from 2002-2008, he champion the interest of disabled people in Ghana through a number of projects and programs, including the establishment of a School chalk factory for Persons with disabilities, organised a presidential forum to bring together Persons with Disabilities(PWDs) and the Presidential Aspirants on their plans and projects for PWDs when voted in power.

Mr. Tetteh was very instrumental in the empowerment of PWDs economically and ensuring that they are discouraged from begging for alms, but rather there are available job a revenues.

He participated in international conferences on global issues such like PRSPS(Nicaraguah, Denmark) debt conciliation (Euro dad conference in Ireland) UN Convention on the rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCPD)( Presented at a conference in Ethiopia). Also, he participated in 2007 Commonwealth Professional Fellowship Program in the UK. During the three months stay, he participated in organising the mass lobby of Parliament on the Independent Living Bill.He consulted for a number of organisations including Ghana Tourist Board on minimum standards for Hotels on Accessibility.Mr. Tetteh holds a Masters degree in Governance and Leadership from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administrator (GIMPA), Institute of Chartered Accountants,Part II(partial) and HND Accounting from Accra Polytechnic. He also has a certificate course in Leadership, Advocacy and Lobbying.
